The Barcelona Photographic Archive presents the new temporary exhibition Manel Esclusa. The forms that move existence which can be visited from March 21 to September 28, 2025.

The exhibition brings together the works that the photographer Manel Esclusa did on the occasion of the exhibition projects “Barcelona, imagined city” and “Musa Museum. Photographers contemporary in the museums of Barcelona”, presented at the Palau de la Virreina in 1988 and 1992, respectively. A small selection of original graphic and bibliographic materials that contextualize the work and relevance of the author is also exposed.

Manel Esclusa with an innovative photographic practice made these pieces experimenting with the relationships between light, darkness and gesture, giving rise to photographs of a visual static of great impact.
