From September 10 to October 25.

While climate change begins to occupy all the agendas, the work of the fishermen of the
Mediterranean has been suffering for some time.
The little generational relief due to the harsh working conditions, and a few prices each time
lower tied to increasingly scarce captures are some of the motifs of the
Precariousness of the sector.
At this point, maintaining the delicate balance between tradition, work and respect for the environment is
key to the survival of this trade.
This is a documentary sample of different sea workers on the Costa Brava,
made from 2018 to 2022. A near, intimate photographic look and where it is put
value the figure of the person, of one of the trades and a modus vivendi more important, and little
Documented, from our territory.

This project has been supported by the Image Center of the Diputación of
Girona (Inspai) and has been part of the Fund of the National Archive of Catalonia since December
of 2024.
