06/20 – 17 h. Bicrome rubber with the Photo Alchemists collective
Session to learn how to make bicrome rubber from a digital image.
Bicrome rubber is a photographic process of contact by contact widely used by so -called pictorialist photographers, at the end of the 19th century early 19th century. Being a pigmentary technique, it allows you to use color and can be made trichromies (RGB) or quadricromies (CMYK), from a digital negative that will need to be separated in its corresponding color channels through an image editing program.
In this workshop we will do tricromies and explore a little the many creative possibilities of this technique.
Methodology:
The people who participate in the workshop, must bring to the civic center a memory pencil with a color image. Members of the Photo Alchemists collective, will tell you how to separate the color channels, and how to make the impression.
Material to bring the students:
A memory pencil with a color image.
