
“Words and waters”, music show, voice and dance / activities / visit us / start
Next Tuesday, April 29, at 8.30 pm, will take place in the Llevant Room of the Library of Catalonia, the show Words and watersby the soprano Núria Dardinyà, the pianist Lluís Avendaño and the dancer Ricard Argemí.
From the work It Marine coffee, of Josep Maria de Sagarra, Words and waters It presents a series of texts and musical pieces that revolve around the sea, of love and heartbreak. They are written by Mercè Rodoreda, Anna Maria Ticoulat, Quim Turigas, Josep Carner, Tomàs Garcés, Joan Salvat-Papasseit, Joan Maragall and Àngel Guimerà, with music of the composers JSBach, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Eduard Toldrà, Xavier Montsalvatge, Albert Moraleda, Isidre Corderas and Miquel Ortega.
The monologues of the catherine of the Marine coffee they open and close the show and set the frame in which they are Words and waterswhile the intermediate space will be a mosaic of impressions.
Núria Dardinyà plays Caterina, as well as the songs that weave the thread of the play, while the dancer Ricard Argemí becomes present giving life to characters who appear directly or indirectly in the narrative. All this with the accompaniment to the piano of Lluís Avendaño and the scenery of Montse J. Sorribes.
