Resolution of the post -stop call 2526 – Joan Brossa Foundation

The projects of Adrià Julià and Tanit Plana have been selected in the category of artistic installations and the collective proposal of Elena Fraj and Miguel Ángel Ramos (with the collaboration of Mariona Naudin, Ireneu Tranis and Albert Pérez Hidalgo) in the category of stage installation.

Post -stop It is a call for six years to provide resources to artists For the creation, production and exhibition of visual artistic installations of a hybrid nature. For the second year running, it also offers a category for stage facilities. With this project La Brossa aims to become a reference space within the art circuit and to provide resources to the creation and exhibition of unique pieces. For this reason, it does not call for new work but provides structure and resources to produce and exhibit facilities that perpetuate a way of doing and interacting with creation from artistic radicality.

On April 28, the jury met and resolved the post-stop call 2025-26 while the entire electricity system on the peninsula was extended. The jury was composed by artists Joan Morey and Irene Vicente (as award -winning artists in the previous edition), by Cèlia del Diego (as a representative of the Macba), David Armengol (La Capella) and the artistic direction of the Free Arts Center (Georgina Oliva and Maria Canelles).

The project selected in the Installation category for stage space is Tableaux Vivants, by Elena Fraj and Miguel Ángel Ramos (with the collaboration of Mariona Naudin, Ireneu Tranis and Albert Pérez Hidalgo). The jury considered that the proposal was interesting because it is considered as a collective curatorial work and the combination between conceptual and stage and installation technique is balanced and depth and visual resolution at the same time.

This project will have a grant of € 10,000 (tax base) for the production and exhibition during the theater season of La Brossa.

As for the Category of artistic installationthe jury concluded to choose two projects:

Fables for an animal economy, by Adrià Julià Marquès. The jury considered that the project is very complete and responds perfectly to the one seeking the call, as it proposes a deep and experimental relationship between apparently unconnected elements with an ironic and demanding look.

Dysfunctionary, of Tanit Plana. In this case, the jury has determined that this is a project that presents a very solid and relevant research on a topic such as bureaucracy and at the same time a very particular visual power full of identity.

These projects will have a grant of € 8,500 (tax base) each for production and will be exhibited during the 2025-26 season in the junk.

A total of 106 projects have been presented and the junk is satisfied with the clear importance that this call is gaining within the sector, providing the opportunity to end research, finish processes and exhibit specific samples.
