MIRA Festival — .MOV: Fifth edition at IDEAL
.MOV is back!
.MOV “Exploring Visual Languages” is a series of immersive screenings curated by MIRA that explores contemporary digital culture, re-evaluating new and old ways of thinking through innovative formats and narratives. It presents distinctive features of digital media that reflect the state of the art and its aesthetics through techniques such as CGI (computer-generated imagery), audiovisual immersion, video game engines and 3D digital animation. The aim of the series is to create a circuit for exploring various aspects of digital creativity and trends, showcasing both emerging and established artists working with moving images. These screenings will be shown at IDEAL Digital Arts Center on November 5 and in spring 2025 there will be new sessions.
As part of the side events that will take place during MIRA WEEK, next Tuesday November 5 at 8PM 4 screenings will be premiered: Alba G. Corral will present “Bernat Pescaire”, Martina Ampuero will present “ZØNE”, Hamill Industries & Desert will present “Deliri” and Oscar Zabala will present “Nocturno”. Be there or be square!
