17 and 23/03 – 18 h. Support networks against patriarchy

From our cycle REGENERATE YOURSELFand on the occasion of 8Mthe Pati Llimona Civic Center wants to invite you to these open activities aimed at women and dissidents with a feminist, community and care approach.

How patriarchy affects our relationships

On March 17, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m

This workshop is a participatory space to explore how patriarchy influences our affective, sexual and bonding relationships. Through experiential dynamics, we will pay attention to internalized gender mandates, emotional inequalities and renunciations that are often normalized in love and care.
We will work from personal experience (with the body, writing and group exchange) to recognize shared patterns and understand that what we live is not only individual, but also structural.
No previous experience is necessary: we start from what each person brings, in a well-kept space that invites you to open up new possibilities towards more conscious, free and balanced bonds.

How to build support networks

On March 23, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m

This workshop offers a participatory space to explore how to create support networks and generate bonds beyond the traditional couple and family. We will focus on identifying both the obstacles and the resources (internal and external) that influence our ability to connect with other people.
Through experiential dynamics, we will work from the body, individual reflection and group exchange to recognize our own difficulties in connecting and opening new forms of relationship. We will share experiences of loneliness and connection to understand them as something collective, not just individual.
We will also introduce practical tools to sustain bonds, such as mutual aid groups (GAM), imagining together more caring and sustainable ways of building community.
No previous experience is necessary: we start from what each person brings, in a safe and accompanied space.
