Complementary activity to the exhibition “Poetry at a glance“.

On September 16, Tuesday, the second edition will take place, with a recital of the guest poets, each with the projected photography that inspired his poem.

The ten poets invited in this second edition of poetry at a glance are, in alphabetical order: Pedro Alcarria, Carla Fajardo, Susanna G. Turigas, M. Antònia Massanet, Montse Ordóñez, Carles Ribó, Amàlia Sanchís, Josep Anton Soldevila, Xavier Soler Ribas and Gustavo Vega. All of them will recite the two poems that inspired them by a photograph of Francesc-Jg Rabella and a photograph of Maite Jou, who chose from the twenty they were offered.

The 1st edition was inaugurated with a recital at the CC Pati Llimona on September 19, 2024, it was exhibited in the Bookstore of the Image of Barcelona (from January 8 to February 8), with recital on January 30, and was at the Ateneu Enciclopèdic Popular de Barcelona (from February 14 to March 13), with a live music party and Pica Pica Pica on March 7. We also participated in the Poetry Barcelona 2025 program in the ACEC premises of the Ateneu Barcelonès with a Image and Poetage Session On May 6, where the images were screened as we listened to the poets reciting in Audios and asked random questions to those of them who could attend. June 15-30 Poetry at a glancetranslated as Poetry of Impactwas exhibited at the Picanteria of the Magdalena district in Zaragoza, during its cultural festival, and several poems were read to open it. On July 1, he moved to the Trallero Pastry Shop in Sarinyena until the 31st of the same month and is on display at the Palau de Villa Magdalena d’Oviedo throughout the month of August. So until returning to the CC Pati Llimona where we can see it together with the contents of the 2nd edition.

All the reports that have come to us from those who attended the recitals or saw the exhibition have been flattering. When you share images, chosen, and verses, of good poetry, some phenomenon of weightless happens. Come to the recital on September 16 to enjoy him and the exhibition.
