From our cycle REGENERATEand on the occasion of 8Mthe Civic Center Pati Llimona wants to present you this activity that we have programmed together with the association Nin-Yo Performance AC.
The Col·lectiva Arrejunte invites you to participate in a new Collective Embroidery activity: How do we take care of the dreams of murdered girls and teenagers?, an artistic and participatory space that seeks to keep alive the memory of the 56 in Guatemala—girls and teenagers who died in 2017 after a fire in a state home under the custody of the State—and of all childhoods in the world, through embroidery as a tool of encounter, expression and reparation symbolic
Dates: Saturdays 14, 21 and 28 February
Hours: from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m
Place: Pati Llimona Civic Center – Multipurpose Room
Accessibility: accessible space for people with reduced mobility.
If you want to participate, you can bring, if you wish, materials for embroidery such as recycled fabrics in yellow and orange tones, threads, wool or stamen. Access is free and no prior registration is required.
This meeting will take place in a safe and respectful space, free of sexist, racist, capitalist attitudes or any form of discrimination and/or harassment. We are waiting for you there!
