Premiere of Geppe Monrós’ experimental documentary “Alan, la monja”.

At the end of the screening we will talk with the director and with different protagonists of the documentary.

In 1991, Geppe Monrós, lived in the Gothic Quarter and, as work for the CECC film school, made a series of recordings and interviews with residents of the neighborhood with a video camera 8. They all answer seven questions about Alan, teacher and poet, who they supposedly knew.

Finally, in 2024, the edition was finished, complementing the documentary with a series of shots recorded in 2017.

Thus was born “Alan, the nun”, a vision not only about the supposed poet Alan, but also about the different and peculiar people interviewed who lived in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona in the eighties.

A unique documentary that will not leave anyone indifferent.
