06/11 – 19 h. Inauguration: Transylvania: Built on Rena Effendi Grass
From October 30 to December 5.
A project of Rena Effendi.
For centuries, the small villages of Transylvania have preserved their hay meadows, raised livestock and managed self -sustaining farms. The agricultural fairy tale that has been extinct in Western Europe still exists here in bucolic scenes, Where young boys learn to cut and crawl the hay by hand, where all the women in the villages are competent in the fabric and all men can build a house from scratch, with thousands of tiles of hard wood on the roof. In this old world, defined by traditional belief systems and respect for the environment, a high grass meadow does not step on before mowing it, the cows and horses find the way back home through the muddy roads of the village and the water of the rivers is occupied with the ground, the washing and the manufacture of alcohol.
Opening: November 6 at 7pm.
Space: attic.
