The ILDE Association organizes, in collaboration with the Pati Llimona Civic Center (Barcelona City Council), the UNESCO Club de Modena and the Editorial Consultation, the “Festival of the Book of Artist and the small edition” that is celebrated since Sixteen years ago, on April 23, in Barcelona. St. George’s Day and World UNESCO Book Day, Plaça de Sant Just (Gothic Quarter) hosts artists with their artistic work on books: prints, graphics, editions, artist books. This day also presents the exhibition, which then becomes traveling by other places until the next edition, in which you can participate presenting an unpublished work inspired by the theme proposed by the Ilde Association, which for the year 2025 is “Books of Joy” (“The Books of Joy”).

The first exhibition will take place on April 23, in Barcelona. The maximum dimensions of the closed book must be 15x15x2 cm: Any size is accepted between them. Any structure and material that you want to use (folding, binding, grapped, combination of formats in the number of pages considered necessary, form of an object book, tactile, series, travel notebook) and any artistic language (may Be a unique copy or a small edition of which at least 5 copies must be presented).

The illustrated catalog of the exhibition, prepared with the works present at the Festival, will collect and multiply the commitment of the authors to participate in the events that the international community is experiencing, and will provide elements of judgment of the authors, the result of their creativity and the exchange of a perspective on the reality and expectations of a better future.
