PRESENTATION OF THE “BATHROOM PORTRAITS” PROJECT / Milos Tzare, photographer, and Mia Alsina, cultural manager
Photo gathering organized by PHOTOCONNECTION
Conceived more than twenty years ago, the idea and the argument of Bathroom Portraits (Project 00) developed by Milos Tzare is very current.
In an age when we are subjected to the public display of our lives, even in the most intimate facets, the willingness to seek a place where privacy is respected, in silence and absolute isolation, to which no one can access, is more necessary than ever.
With absolute dedication and focus projected for twenty years on the artistic project Bathroom Portraits, Milos Tzare experienced a metamorphosis in which he evolved from mathematician to photographer. It was this mutation that gave him a mental structure in which mathematics became a tool that complemented and completed Milos’ artistic perception.
This is how the feeling of freedom appeared in Milos, being able to use the mathematical language as another tool for artistic creation.
