We publish the memory of the Ateneu 2023-2024

A few days before the end of 2024, we want to share the open way the Memory of Coópolis Activities: A document that comprehensively collects the challenges assumed and the results obtained by the Ateneu in all its areas and tasks. This is a document that we work with a desire to be transparent and to transfer knowledge to all citizens.

We are proud of the results obtained and this allows us to face the new trianliness of the Ateneo enthusiastically, but also with respect, aware that the new political and social scenarios have changes and will be imperative that the cooperative fabric remain strong to face possible obstacles.

Of this last year we want to highlight some elements:

– the Growth of projectsespecially in sectors such as education, culture and information technologies. We still miss productive projects and disassociate strictly from the service sector.
– People approaching the Ateneo for their training offer each time deeper knowledge To improve their own and collective capacities and thus strengthen their cooperative projects.
– Over time we are also getting tools for measure community impact The initiatives promoted, and in general, are very positive, especially those linked to social inclusion, job creation and sustainable development.
– This year we can say that the strategic relationships With the public sector as well as with the cooperative sector, they have strengthened and consolidated, which allows us to walk safe in the coming years.
– We have modernized! Each time we incorporate more and better technology management tools that allow us to be more efficient in processes And devote more effort to the most qualitative and human aspects of the project.

This 2024 we close the first triennium (2021-2024) of the Ateneus call promoted by the Generalitat. Working for triennials has allowed us and will allow us in the future, to be able to capture more global what the growth and consolidation of the services we carry out. This year it should be noted that the launch of the equipment in the BLOC4BCN has allowed increase the accompaniments by 3% generated and in a 8% Accompaniment hourscompared to past editions.Also noteworthy is the increase in number and quality of the incubation service that this year, since March 4, 2024, has 30 incubated projects, between creation and consolidation (between 0 and 6 years old) and 130 people participate.

With regard to the number of insertions achieved this year, we want to share the number of 81 labor insertions fruits of the accompaniments, training, awareness -raising actions, territorial dynamization and intercooperation. These insertions have been given in 35 different cooperatives and other ESS entities. 55.56% of the insertions have been womenwhich strengthens that cooperatives offer jobs that respond widely and comprehensively to systemic situations that women are in the workplace.

In this memory we also highlight the impulse and Consolidation of the Observatory of coópolis. This area acts as a Research and documentation space To study the development, impacts and challenges of co -operatives and ESS in the city of Barcelona. Its transversal objectives include the generation of tools for conceptualization, knowledge and evaluation, and the construction of quantitative and qualitative indicators based on the search for emerging socioeconomic practices and strategic lines.

From the area of ​​education the vision of fostering is maintained Training and continuous education Not only linked to the academic field. With this dynamic, what we pursue is that people who are part of cooperative projects can advance their professional and personal development linked to the cooperative, thus strengthening the collective bond.

We cannot leave out of this summary the Transfer to the new Municipal Equipment BLOC4BCN which will be a shock for the entities of the social and solidarity economy of the city. The long -awaited new headquarters opened in February and the end of the year we can say that it is practically operating at 90%.
