We celebrate 10 years of Coòpolis

This year, like other Ateneus Cooperatives or the XAC itself, we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the start of operation of Coòpolis as an agent of economic dynamism.

10 years ago, we kicked off one ambitious project which aimed to demonstrate that economy can be done in another wayand not only that: also one another way of livingof relating and of respond to needs of a system increasingly in decline.

10 years ago we started promoting the creation of work cooperatives: many of them have consolidated, networked and operate in a powerful inter-cooperation ecosystem.

10 years later we are promoting not only work cooperatives: also the Ecosocial transition through energy communities and resources; alternatives to the housing crisis, with the cooperative housing model in transfer of use; and one paradigm shift in carepromoting and making visible the practices of thefeminist economics in all applicable areas.

We have many reasons to celebrate, but the main one is that we did all this togetherwith many different travel companions, all of them necessary and essential. That’s why we want to invite you all day May 29 at this party, which will be a meeting place for vindication and also for celebration.

Together we will continue to promote fair and sustainable transformation.
