Urban exhibition “The emotion of the Goyas”

Catalan talent is a fundamental part of Spanish culture and cinema, and this is demonstrated by the dozens of statuettes given, received and celebrated by our great filmmakers at the Goya Awards, which have always been linked to Catalonia and its capital, Barcelona.

After 39 years of experience, this year the Goya Awards return to Barcelona to celebrate the 40th edition with a gala that promises extraordinary moments.

To keep talking until the most exciting night of Spanish cinema arrives, the Academy has selected a series of unforgettable images from previous galas, starring Catalan professionals or who have developed their careers in Catalonia and captured by the photographers Alberto Ortega, Ana Belén Fernández, Carlos Villarejo, Enrique Cidoncha, Félix Valiente, Javier Biosca, JC Behamud, Jorge Fuembuena, Jorge Rey, Juan Ruiz, Miguel Córdoba, Papo Waisman, Pipo Fernández and Valero Rioja.
