Un 2025 de maravilla 💫

Man, it has been a year of zillions of markets with the Flea Market Barcelona label. There have been new formats, explosions of success (and some downturns), fantastic returns to our essence, town councils that love us and adventures that we have started and paint a beautiful horizon for 2026. We want to share with you the balance of the year because you are the one who makes our markets much more than recirculating objects and become a party that no one wants to leave.

Els Grans Mercats
Let’s start with the new additions. This year we have released Flea World in the Maritime Museum with two editions. The first one was fine, but the second one blew it away. 6,000 attendees. That is a demonstration. And quite a challenge for a team like ours, which is small and had not managed such a large production until now. But we jumped into the pool and now we are measuring the height of the diving board to see how we continue because in our annual survey 42.5% give it a 5 out of 5.
He Great Flea It was fantastic. It is the largest market in Barcelona, nothing more and nothing less, and in the Estació del Nord, which has that air between decadent poet and mafia spy. And on top of that this year we launched foosball. It makes us as happy as him Flea Station in the Estació de França, much smaller but with the best handmade selection of vintage clothing.
With that wonderful idea, our flagship this year sets sail, the Port Flea. We start in November, we repeat in December and if you haven’t come yet, we have another edition next January 4, to start 2026 with sustainable actions and a Christmas atmosphere. The Three Wise Men have already said that they are going to fill their gift bags with vintage because they have heard that the first two editions were a success. We want to make the market a monthly event, with its stalls, street food and DJ so you can dance until the sun sets with views of the sea. We count on you to achieve it 😉

The Popular Market
We have celebrated our only street market in style, the Puça del Clot. And we have fought against the elements, that is, a universal flood. But that’s okay, we take care of the inconveniences of being outdoors because of its great, great advantage, and that is that you can come to our market whenever you want and however you want, without having to pay an entrance fee or wait in line. One of the participants in the annual survey asks us for more markets where entry is free. Town halls and town councils: we need more space for our second-hand markets.
Allied Town Councils
If you give a 10 to our markets, we give it to the town councils of Viladecans, Gavà and Castelldefels who trust in what we do and believe in a sustainable and local event. Thank you for betting on second-hand and for sponsoring our markets so that all the people who come to participate and sell can do so at popular prices. Nothing makes us happier than making Flea Market Barcelona accessible to all audiences.
Collaborations and other adventures
We are very happy with our collaborations. Especially with the Petite Paradethe vintage market in pop-up format that we organize in El Born, full of original and sustainable looks. Vintage, upcycling and second-hand clothing with vibes from the seventies to the two-thousands.
We’ve also had some other new adventures this year. We release the Flea Gaudi at the Casa Convalescència, our modernist market, and the location could not be more beautiful. The same with him Bargain Garden in the Jardí de les Aïgues of the UPF. As we said before, nothing cools us more than the very cheap market format, in which everything is 10 euros or less. But for several reasons we have to change these markets’ locations and we are looking for good places for them. So we repeat this warning to city councils, friends, institutional officials: if you have a great idea for Flea Market Barcelona, we are all ears.

Annual Survey 2025
Like every year, we have asked you how we did, what you liked and how we can improve. The 2025 Annual Survey helps us get to know you and continue looking for cool opportunities for our markets.

First conclusion: our markets are cool because they are made by people from Barcelona thinking about people from Barcelona. Also because every time you come to the Flea, you are supporting and financing a lot of people. Only 26.3% of our salespeople have full-time jobs. Almost 40% are unemployed. When we ask people why they participate in our markets, 38.6% tell us that selling is not their profession, but they need the income. Furthermore, you support women, because we are 75.4% of the participants.

28.1% of the people who come to sell at a market do so for ecological reasons. Nothing is lost, everything is transformed. What we do is pure good vibes. And it also benefits those around us. 93% of Flea participants acknowledge that when they come to one of our parties they spend money at local businesses.

“The organization is super correct and the workers are a 10, always attentive.”
This is the comment that a participant leaves us. With people like this, we enter 2026 with a smile from ear to ear and one wish: to continue surrounded by such nice people to fight for a more sustainable (and more beautiful) world.
