The winter circus of the psyche


Here is the real man-object, the center of our gaze. Is the artist like a lamp? Well no: it is a lamp, literally, that illuminates what we see and invites us to look. Our innermost balance depends on what the balancer executes in the scene. This is no small matter. In this set of tiny, sideways things, we can see a deliberately demented (surreal) exploration of the scene’s mind and body. To get to the bottom of things, the viewer’s head is filled with everything that is erected in the empty theatrical space. The Catalan company Psyrc it plays with the homophony with the word “circus” with the big P of “psyche”, and makes the most artisanal developments of the body mental and fun. The circus has these things.

The circus has always been a box of nearby magic, which comes to life in the strangeness of the objects. The performer is one more and acts as a magic wand when he brings the rest to life, a key to the illusion. A little thingsthe screen acts as master of ceremonies.
