The talent of the Taller de Músics returns to the streets with Sons de Ciutat

Taller de Músics starts the year with energy and organizes the first concerts in Barcelona Sounds of the City. The artists Au Rora, Comrade Ventura, Eva Fort y Medina they will perform in different places of the city with their jazz, pop, R&B, electronic and urban music projects.

Sounds of the City is the small format concert program in streets and squares of Barcelona’s commercial hubs and markets. It is an initiative promoted by the City Council with more than two hundred annual performances.

AU RORA
Au Rora is a young singer and composer established in Barcelona. His project is the result of the union between an elegant harmony and a soft and sincere voice, which drinks from jazz, bossa nova, soul and R&B. Live, he creates a dreamlike and immersive environment through the warmth of his voice, the sounds of the keyboards and a constant rhythmic base. Au Rora’s musical style is a compendium of all his musical experiences. Some of his influences are Lianne La Havas, Steve Lacy, SZA, Lô Borges or Milton Nascimento.

COMRADE VENTURA
Comrade Ventura is a musical group that fuses electronics, jazz, ambient and pop. His music is energetic, fresh and sensitive, ideal for any type of audience and stage. After two albums under the name JF Trio, they decided to renew themselves and launch a new work that reflects their identity after four years of playing together.

EVA STRONG
Eva Fort is a singer-songwriter from Barcelona with influences from English folk, indie and pop. He started his solo project in 2017 presenting it in circles of the author’s song. Personal and honest lyrics, current themes and melodies marked by the influences of 20th century pop-rock classics are the elements that characterize their sound.

MEDINA
Medina is an artist born in Badalona with an extensive background formed in various musical styles, which he combines in his musical proposal. The author’s song, urban music and electronica mix in perfect harmony in this personal and minimalist project.
