The Fénix Room will be the setting for a contemporary Shakespeare that revisits emigration. Kevin Jorges presents “Timón of(f) Caracas”, which offers a reinterpretation of the classic “Timón of Athens” and reflects on the situation of Venezuelan emigrants in Spain. Through music, masks and stage work, the artist guides the audience through an emotional landscape in which memory and reality merge, with an interpretation that balances hopelessness and redemption. This piece is part of the “Aerial Bridge” cycle, an initiative that brings theater shows from around the world to the city. The feature will premiere on August 30, 31 and September 1. http://via.bcn/K6a350T3ISa Images: A. Mujica
