Registrations are now open for the IX Edition of the Social and Solidarity Economy Postgraduate – Cooperative Studies!
Training is key to driving meaningful change and transforming our communities. Cooperativism and the Social and Solidarity Economy are much more than business models: they are another way to build a fairer and more equitable future for everyone. The Social and Solidarity Economy promotes business models that not only seek economic profit, but also social and environmental well-being. Training in these models allows us to generate long-term positive impacts. Learning together with others is essential to creating a support network that strengthens communities.
If you are looking to learn theoretical and practical knowledge about the Social and Solidarity Economy, especially about cooperatives, with a Catalan and global dimension, the Postgraduate in Social and Solidarity Economy – Cooperative Studies is for you. In this ninth edition, inter-cooperation and local economic development, strategic eco-social sectors and training to accompany new cooperatives have a prominent role.
Coordinated by La Ciutat Invisible and the Metròpoli Institute of the UAB, it has the support of the La Tregua cooperative, which is in charge of methodological support from popular anti-racist education. It receives financial support from the General Directorate of Social and Solidarity Economy, Third Sector and Cooperatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as the collaboration of the Solidarity Economy Network, Lleialtat Santsenca, Coòpolis, the Bloc4BCN – Espai Cooperatiu and from various cooperatives such as FGC Advocats, Grup Ecos, Coop57, Quesoni, Lacol, BATEC or associations such as MigrESS.
