One more summer, the linguistic and cultural stays are coming for students in the Llull Network. This Sunday, July 6, the first participants arrived in Valencia. 30 students of Catalan from the universities of Brno, Bucharest, Krakow, Glasgow, Granada, Berlin Freie, Moscow, Unam (Mexico), Turin, Prague, Sao Paulo and Zadar.

For 13 days they will attend courses, conferences, visits and other activities, while also sharing the experience with students from around the world, with the Catalan language and culture as a nexus of union. The program includes 30 hours of language course, cultural outings at the Valencian Academy of the Language, the Albufera, Vila Joiosa or the Central Market of Valencia, among others, concerts and conferences.

On July 20 will start the XXIV University Language University Campus that is celebrated in Girona and Andorra With students from Birmingham, Budapest, Canada, Cardiff, Krakow, Freie, Freiburg, Granada, Grenoble, Liverpool, Madrid, Mexico, Moscow, Naples, Prague, Toulouse, Turin, Warsaw, Verona, Chile.

The first week of the campus will take place in Girona and includes views of the Josep Pla de Palafrugell Foundation and the Dalí de Cadaqués house-museum. On July 27, participants will travel to Andorra, where they will follow the academic and cultural program. Andorra’s activities include various talks, such as a language session in Andorra by the Head of the Language Policy Service, Marta Pujol, Cultural visits, as well as concerts within the framework of the Festa Major de Andorra la Vella and attendance at the “Sublim” show of Cirque du Soleil.

Finally, from September 7 to 19, the summer linguistic stay in the Balearic Islands will take place. In addition to the language classes, it includes a podcast script workshop by Inés Mateu: a conference on Joan Miró with the professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, Francisca Lladó; and the screening of the film always on Thursday with the presence of the protagonist, Júlia Colom, among other activities.
