We are waiting for you at the 12th edition of meRRRcafels
Next Saturday, November 16, we will be with the friends of meRRRcafels, a second-hand market held in Castelldefels, where anyone can buy, sell or exchange items that require new homes. On the occasion of European Waste Prevention Week, we can’t think of a better way to promote sustainability than by extending the life of objects that we no longer use.
Some ideas to master the 3Rs:
The 3Rs are a fundamental principle in waste management: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. Three practices that help reduce environmental impact and promote more responsible consumption. For example, if we think about fashion and accessories:
- A way to reduce would be to opt for one conscious and versatile purchasegarments that we can combine in multiple ways.
- So that what we have is reused, Second-hand markets are an ideal setting. Specifically, At meRRRcafels, the exchange of clothing among the community is promoted.
- And as for recycling, you can find out which brands offer discounts on new clothes in exchange for old ones, or look for recycling workshops. upcycling that teach how to turn clothes into new products.
What else will you find at meRRRcafels?
In addition to very good vibes and purpose, on the morning of November 16 we will have Guixot de Vuit and its proposal of sustainable games, Arnau Sabaté on vinyl with jazz, funk and fusion rarities and Flea Mark with hip-hop and bealearic beats .
About Flea Market Barcelona
Since 2007, our maxims are creativity, sustainability and community. We firmly believe that there is no expiration date for art and fashion; Any object can have a second life, even a third and a fourth. In the hands of a new person, every treasure shines again.
With this philosophy, we reduce waste and excessive consumption and promote the circular economy.

Save the Flea!
Since the end of El Flea’s activities in the Raval neighborhood was announced to us at the beginning of the year, we have kept our heads high thanks to local markets that allow us to keep the community active and vintage alive.
The panorama of the measures taken by Barcelona City Council continues to be bleak and desperate for all of us who are part of Flea Market Barcelona. Our greatest wish is to reverse the situation and be able to return to doing what we are passionate about and have been doing for more than 12 years.
