Las hijas del fuego, by Costa A triptych of images that takes up the entire screen, a musical of pain and ecstasy in which singers Elizabeth Pinard, Alice Costa and Karyna Gomes take part as women separated from each other after the eruption of the volcanic island of Fogo, Cape Verde in 1951. The three sing a Ukrainian folk song. Trailer for the film that will never exist: “Joke Wars”, by Godard de broma” At the time of his death in September 2022, Jean-Luc Godard was in full preparation of his next feature film, the adaptation of the novel by the Belgian writer Charles Plisnier Faux Passports, published in 1937.
