Every Sunday from 22 February onwards, enjoy guided visits to the exhibitions on floor 0 of the museum: Prisoners of Love by Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme, and The Third Twist by Anna Moreno.
Coming from different languages and contexts, the exhibitions by Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme and by Anna Moreno invite us to inhabit the museum as a memory space through an audiovisual and an installation.
The exhibition by Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme takes up a central place in this visit. Their new immersive audiovisual is structured around songs and poems by imprisoned people, ballads that have mutated over time: from love songs to songs of resistance.
The Third Twist by Anna Moreno deals with temporality, using utopian architecture and cinematographic fiction. The work The Terminal Beach takes us to an unfinished project by the architect Ricardo Bofill in the Algerian Sahara, a place where the modern dream confronts the reality of colonial legacies and their ruins.
Artists and researchers Agnes Essonti Luque, Albert Gironès and Eva Paia offer us a visit to the exhibition, where participants are helped to create a collective narrative and a dialogue about everybody’s knowledge. On the tour they will provide clues that resonate within the museum, so that every visitor will take away a murmur of the exhibition.
