From the 1960s, Antoni Tàpies enriched his art with signs, signals, footprints and letters of the alphabet which, viewed as a whole, allow us to understand the artist’s humanistic, reflective and spiritual background. Later, he introduces oriental calligraphies, with which he recovers the brushstroke by associating it with writing and ideograms.
