Fotografia i diàleg sobre els rituals funeraris – Centre Cívic Guinardó
Saturdays 15 and 22 March 11h. at 1pm.
Prior registration is required – Free Activity
Within the framework of the exhibition “Vivir bien, die well”, the historian Adrià Terol and the artist Nathalie Rey propose an activity that combines a guided tour and a photographic walk through the Poblenou cemetery. This route will discover not only its history and architectural characteristics, but also to appreciate its particularities as a plastic and symbolic space.
The visit to the cemetery will serve as a starting point to reflect on our funeral rituals and their evolution. In a second session, there will be a viewing of photographs taken by the participants, generating a space for dialogue around the funeral practices and the role of cemeteries in our relationship with death.
