Exposició “De les trepitjades se n’estampen les paraules” – Centre Cívic Guinardó

Communicating vessels from memory

Its title is inspired by the work of Fina Miralles, Petjades (1976). This project explores the mechanisms with which we perceive memory, from the gesture of stepping on to the deep act of leaving a trace. Here, the footprint becomes a poetic gesture, a metaphor for the ephemeral that, in its record, transits between individual and collective memory, creating a subtle and at the same time powerful appropriation of space. The exhibition proposes memory as a lives, a subtle regulator of our behaviors. The step, as an action and as a memory, becomes a tool to regain the past and understand the present. In this ephemeral and tangible act the same constituent of memory is revealed: a fleeting but meaningful perseverance.

The footprint, materialized on the ground, is presented as a synergistic element that connects the experience lived with the poetic action of time. Through experimentation and artistic practice, the artists of the exhibition deepen this action of the memory and their bond with the word. His works dialogue, generating conversations that not only explore the ephemeral dimension of the trail, but also the capacity of it to open poetic spaces and reconfigure memory over time. This is an invitation to observe how the simplest gesture can contain infinite complexity, a narrative of the lived moment that transcends the present to find new layers of meaning.

This exhibition is part of the Mirada Pilot project, an emerging curating program for an exhibition that itinera through the Barceloneta Civic Center, the Boca Nord Jove Espai Nord and the Sant Andreu Civic Center. These communicating vessels act as support platforms for emerging curator, offering spaces and resources for the development of new artistic and cultural proposals.
The presented healing speech must be composed of four artistic proposals participating in the Stripart Festival of the Guinardó Civic Center.
