exhibition "ROBIN KID: The Future Is Old"

“The provocative young artist attacks the ‘status quo’ through his paintings, sculptures and immersive installations. Taking today’s “Zeitgeist” and breaking it down into defragmented paintings and sculptures, the artist aims to capture the rejection and need for change felt by the younger generation. These exhibited works could be more relevant than ever, especially in our challenging times, as they question the repetition of history and the position that youth will take now and in the near future, inspired by the words of Coretta Scott King: “The freedom is never really earned… you earn it in every generation.” This article in the Cultural Agenda was updated on January 14, 2025.
