📚✍️ Author of the month of September: Truman Capote (1924-1984). Captivated by the case of the murder of the Clutter family on their farm in Holcomb, Kansas in November 1959, Truman Capote wrote In Cold Blood (1965), the best of his works and one of the novels of non-fiction (fiction of real events or journalistic novel) pioneers and most famous of literature and new journalism. Before that, Capote, who had begun his career writing stories for different magazines, published the novels Other Voices, Other Areas (1948), L’arpa d’herba (1951) and Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1958), which already confirmed as one of the best American writers of his generation. A regular at the parties and circles of the rosy press and high society of New York, some of the characters in his works are inspired by the real characters he met there. #BJM #quèfemalesbiblios #bibliotequesXBM #autordelmes #setembre #TrumanCapote #Capote #literatura #llibres #Booklovers #BiblioLovers #cultura #SantJust
