Alosa wins the XVII Sounds of the Mediterranean Contest
lark win the XVII Sounds of the Mediterranean Contest in a final that took place last October 10 in the Manresa Mediterranean Fair and where the trio Aluca and the duo Arar will also participate.
Giulietta Vidal and Irene Romo captivated the audience and the jury with their unique interpretations, their great vocal quality and the ability to fuse tradition and modernity in a vibrant live show at the Taverna Cervesa Guineu de la Fira.
With this award, Alosa will perform at the Traditional Festival, Ethno Catalonia de Banyoles, FIMPT de Vilanova i la Geltrú, Música a la Vila del Vendrell and Circuit Folc. They will also record an album and participate in the Root Workshop of the Mediterranean Fair, where they will perform again next year.
The Sounds Contest is organized for the Enderrock Group and the Center Artesà Tradicionàrius.
