Acid humor to denounce corruption and abuse of power


the company Easy Duo returns to the stage with his latest show observe these sons of bitches by the Madrid author and director Adrián Perea, who uses humor to expose the most raw and everyday realities of impunity and privilege.

The montage offers a satirical look at the abuse of power with the figure of the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perezas a symbol of political and business corruption in Spain. In fact, the project is inspired by the book Florentino Pérez, the power of the stage of Fonsi Loaiza (AKAL, 2022), taking as the guiding thread of the show one of the most paradigmatic characters in the corrupt circles of the State, such as the president of Real Madrid.

A show that, through humor, reveals to us how corruption and influence peddling go hand in hand with the petty corruptions of every day. A scathing review that combines sarcasm and dark humor, performed by Marc Domingo, Chris Martinez, Francis Marginet sensible, Clara Mingueza, Abel Reyes Alabart, Marc Tarrida Aribau, Agnès Casals Visús i Gerard Franc Lopera. Absurd humor and comedy burst in with force, the show begins with the approval of a new law that recognizes dolphins as pets, as a personal favor from the new president of the government to the president of Real Madrid.

“When there is no longer any political or business scandal that affects us, we can only laugh at them and our lack of sensitivity.” comments the Dúo Fácil company. “We use humor as a vehicle to explain what has already been explained on the news.” The show talks about different issues such as corruption in the Spanish State (as a paradigm for any other European State), the naturalization of theft at all levels, the criminalization of the middle and lower social classes, the impunity of the upper classes, and the exercise of power by the few, as a random absurdity that decides and conditions our lives.

Although the project is defined as text theater, the staging combines musical moments, with a multitude of scenographic changes and with the appearance of more than 30 characters that give dynamism and comedy to the play.
