Antoine and Olga are a French couple who dreams of building an ecological arcadia in a lost and forgotten Galician town where coexistence with the villagers is not as idyllic as they would like.
A conflict with its neighbors, the anta brothers, will cause the tension to grow to a point of no return.
As Bestas is inspired by a real crime in the inner Galicia, destroyed in its ecosystem by the implantation of wind farms. This rural western, which speaks of xenophobia, love of earth and environmentalism, is a superb tension exercise that won four Goya Awards.
